What is Nostalgium?

At Nostalgium, we believe collecting is fun! Our goal is to turn your memories into a museum by offering items old and new to help you curate your personal collection. Every collection is different. So whether you're stockpiling Alpha sets or acquiring cards from your favorite artist, we aim to have (or find) the items your looking for. 

 

Who is Nostalgium?

Nostalgium is comprised of 3 team members: John, Grant, and Dee.

• John began collecting baseball and Magic: The Gathering cards back in the 90's, and expanded his hobby into a career by becoming one of the founders/ owners of Card Kingdom Inc. Over time, John decided to hone in on graded cards as well as other oddities and collectibles to create Nostalgium Inc. John's favorite item in his personal collection is a 1987 Topps Baseball Wax Box. It was the first box of cards he and his brother Damon ever bought, and lead them to build what they have today.
• Grant has a demonstrated history with Magic: The Gathering; working as a Card Kingdom employee since 2011 and an eBay collectibles seller sinec 2018. He has spent the majority of his life collecting and trading cards and becoming a subject matter expert. Grant works directly with our customers and B2B sellers to find the perfect products. Grant's favorite items in his personal collection are magnets from each place that he and his wife visit.
• Dee is a trade show savant with a varying collection including TCG and sports cards as well as board games, dolls, and crystals. She started with Mox Boarding House in 2017 and has worked as a buyer for the Mox Boarding House locations and as a product manager for Card Kingdom before joining Nostalgium. She brings her skills in business growth and marketing to the team. Dee's favorite item in her collection is The Integrity Toys Trixie Doll.
• Matt is the newest addition to the Nostalgium team, though he is anything but new to the industry. He began with Card Kingdom in 2018 and his commitment to quality work has brought him to the Nostalgium team as our operations coordinator. Matt is the glue that holds the team together; doing everything from submitting cards to grading to shipping out orders. At the time this is written I am unsure what Matt's favorite item in his collection is, though I will mention that he has quite an extensive collection of clocks on his work desk.
